A stellar year of successful performance has seen founder and CEO of the leading accredited training provider and Private FET College KLM Empowered, Lyn Mansour being awarded a place as one of Africa’s top CEO’s by internationally accredited CEO Today magazine for the second year in a row!
Dedicated to recognising strong and innovative leadership amongst business leaders operating in Africa across all key business sectors and industries, the CEO Today Africa Awards recognises the CEOs who are leading in their respective sectors and beyond, and brings together companies pushing the envelope in business, and the executives and leaders that make this progress possible.
Mansour is one of forty-eight top CEO’s representing South Africa’s winners, from a total of ninety-nine across Africa. The awards were determined by a platform of over 12 000 voters on ceotodaymagazine.com.
“It’s an honour and a privilege to be acknowledged as one of the top corporate leaders on the continent yet again. We intend to continue excelling, and we’re so proud to be doing it alongside other truly inspirational leaders recognised by CEO Today Magazine. I believe in coming together as a collective to learn from each other, in being the change we want to see, so I’m thrilled by how CEO Today provides this opportunity,” comments Mansour.
The consecutively award-winning CEO is a trailblazer in her approach to leading with heart; and has been a force of forward-momentum and upliftment throughout 2018. Some of this year’s achievements that determined Mansour’s success include cultivating a 45% growth for KLM Empowered Human Solutions Specialists in the 2018 fiscal thus far and carrying out an impactful CSI project that saw over 8 000 home packed lunches personally packed and distributed to communities in need.
One of the biggest feats for the company this year, though, was the inaugural “I am Greatness” Women in Leadership Imbizo that was successfully brought to fruition from Mansour’s vision. The gathering was a first of its kind in combining an SABPP accredited skills development programme over three days, that included a string of engaged conversations and thought-provoking Crowd Learning ™. The inspiring and transformative event brought to life KLM Empowered’s belief in shared and unified success.
“At CEO Today, we are immensely proud to be able to recognise and celebrate those who operate in Africa and whose hard work, innovative-thinking and enthusiasm drive their companies forward and inspire others,” says editor-in-chief, Mark Palmer.
The hard work and innovation of Mansour and KLM Empowered is certainly being celebrated with the reception of this award, as 2018 comes to a close.
“Nothing would be possible without my team, so this award is shared between all at KLM Empowered,” says Mansour.
