Welcome to the new Knowledge X-Change Centre of Leadership Excellence.

It’s officially here.  The ribbon has been cut. KLM Empowered’s Knowledge X-Change Centre of Leadership Excellence officially launched during an intimate event on the evening of 12 September 2019. Guests included media and KLM Empowered VIPs, who engaged with a provocative discussion led by futurist Pieter Geldenhuys, Breathwork Africa founder Dr Ela Manga, CEO of KLM Empowered Lyn Mansour and Clayton Lendrum, Knowledge X-Change training facilitator.

The Knowledge X-Change Centre of Leadership Excellence (KXC) has been developed as a facility geared towards assisting people in leading, innovating and adapting in order to master digital citizenship in the 4th Industrial Revolution.  The conversations held were aligned with this area of focus and unpacked how we can thrive as a society by taking a more holistic, conscious approach to business and education, how we can make technology work for humanity in a healthy way that will support much needed human connection and aid an exciting future for employment.

“We wanted to create a safe space where you can discover your place in the Fourth Industrial Revolution” explained CEO Lyn Mansour in her opening address.

It’s much more than a safe space, though. The launch of KXC showcased a state of the art facility founded on peace and creativity, and enhanced by technology. The space has a fluidity that strikes the perfect balance between calm and stimulating; alive with plants, water features and murals of forests, it’s a work of art in itself.

Each room had a unique technology experience from virtual reality painting to the opportunity to converse with none other than the fun and impressive Pepper the Robot who was an all night hit. The couch conversation was hosted in the Theatre of Meraki- named after the ancient Greek concept of the piece of one’s self that is left in their work. The premises was successfully abuzz with the future-forward focus that this new project is centered around.

The event was nothing short of KLM’s style of perfection and creativity from an Asian fusion buffet paired with cocktails to a live violinist. The event has officially opened the facility to begin a series of MasterClasses around leading change and mastering digital citizenship which begin in September 2019. This is just a tiny drop in the ripple of change that KLM Empowered’s KXC and its MasterClasses is set to start. Have a look at the program and book now.
